Kiss My Grass

Australia’s fastest growing festival event Kiss My Grass returns Saturday January 26th 2008 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Kiss FM in conjunction with Future Entertainment presents a smorgasbord of Australian talent – boasting some 140 local DJs and 12 Live Electronic Acts – Kiss My Grass 2008 is the only way to celebrate Australia Day.

Once again Kiss My Grass will showcase the cream of Australia’s DJs, MCs and electronic music artists over seven stages. Further to this, an extended fence line will enable more space to revel in this all-Aussie electronic soundscape.

Dance to a diverse range of music genres with everything from hip hop to house, drum and bass, funk, techno, breaks, trance, electro and more.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 8th November 2007 with a limited number of discounted Early Bird tickets including a free Kiss FM membership.

KMG last year was so awesome, I was really surprised how much fun everyone had.

I think it's just the difference in atmosphere - at Summadayze every man and his dog shows up, regardless of taste in music, and with the attitude that "this is going to be the biggest fuckin' day ever". Like new years eve, there are thousands of complete wankers out on the town who usually stay home. As a result, it's crowded and intense.

KMG...relaxed and plenty of room. No one who cares about music is stressed about who they want to "see" because we've all seen the locals millions of times; just a great vibe. I give it three years before the muzzas move in and ruin it.



I won't be going this year because I'm overseas.

This year was already not as good as the first year. I really didnt expect much and had the best day ever. I hope they make the sets a little longer this time.

Cant wait for MTC crew to play some "FUCKING TECHNO"

i liked this year better than last year but they were both awesome for the same reasons

slowly the price creeps higher and higher! :P But so far from the last two KMG it's been worth it!

i know of a big dub/reggae band that has already been confirmed for the event, i'll go just to see them !

Yes! They were awesome, such a good set!

All my friends used to think techno was hardstyle, and after seeing MTC they were all like "techno actually is pretty cool..."

Yeah, while I was getting Hot BBQ tix last night I figured I might as well chuck in a couple of KMG tix as well, since they were only $44 on ITM. The first one was pretty mad. I remember at one point sitting on the plastic chairs at the top of the hill and thinking I was way too drunk for the time of the day. And laughing at all the fluoro idiots. Guess there'll be even more this time around... =/

Fluro kids dont bother me. What time of day was it? If it was after 11am I say you are safe

KMG rocked last time, was such a cruizy day.
