I went to this thread on samples:

And remembered just how big it is. So I scrolled down and under the "Search this Thread" box I typed in "tribe" - and it gave me results from other forums as well, not just that one thread.

Edit: Just did it for this thread, same deal.

matching 'show results as posts' should work

it would be useful when searching if search could tell u what page(s)the results it found was on.

See.. the search modifications I put in did not take notice of the other mods on the forum - like 'search within thread' - that is all custom...

I had to add 2 more lines to the code and now it is doing stuff properly.. thanks for pointing it out

Ahh thanks Swamper, it was driving me crazy manually looking through the entire thread. Strange how much we rely on technology.
