Right. Not to piss on your fireworks too much but....
1) there's a correct way to get a forum, there's even a suggestions area with details on how it would be done in theory.
2) Asia is so vast. There's so many countries, how would a forum for that work (eg europe has all our seperate subforums)
3) It's not about building something for people to come, it's about building something for the people who're already here
4) Moderation - with so many languages being spoken, it would be hard to moderate, nigh on impossible. I'm already against the israeli sub-forum on the basis that you can't actually tell what's being said, but with the western languages, eg english, french, spanish, dutch & german, it's easy enough to pick up the gist of something.
5) It just wouldn't work. We need less minority groups & more people banding together on the main forums like this one. TA used to be a lot more diverse but now most people only use their subforum because of how things are here.
