Have you considered making a separate place to post computer related questions? There are lots of people asking questions like that in Chillout and it seems like there is enough volume to give it its own space.
I'm talking software, download rates, FTP other stuff I don't understand....
The amount of threads about burning, or help with fixing problems, etc that are posted in the chill out and music discussion forum sometimes could be enough to need a new forum. And let us computer minded people help others easierly.
So i think this would be a good idea, and make it easier to get help for technical problems

there was discussion on this forum aaaaaaaaages ago! but basically the vibe was its all very good making a forum all the time, but this is a trance site, not a site that caters for everything that life throws, people like sport = spots foum, games = games forum, before we no it we'll have a bird watching forum!
if u want to find out or read on certain things, google.com search=whatever, that was the vibe last time, wheather its changed or not i dunno!

the best advice i have found on the net is the newsgroups, if you just do a search for any hardware maker, there will be a newsgroup got them. I have sorted out many problems using advice from these.
if you arnt sure how to set up newsgroups, outlook express has newsgroup support(badic but it does the job) and ur isp will give u server details etc.....
as coup said, tranceaddict is for trance, not computers, maybe put a few links up somewhere for good computer/techical help sites somwhere

There is no need for a new forum. people with technical proplems should just post there thread in the game forum.
