well i bought..
its sooo much better than original....
heres a few reasons why..
1.longer time
2.u can build more than 2 floors and have a basement.
3.it goes to the bathroom and eats automatic..u can disable it.
4.u now have weekends..so no more working everyday, sometime they call u to tell u got the day off.
5.u can call a taxi and leave to another location.
6.if u dont make any social friends u make up a imaginary friend...someone dressed in a bunny outfit...

LOL, sounds like it'll be fun. I like the imaginary friend thingy... I get tired of them being depressed.

I really liked this until I found out that my MEGAHOUSE was laggin the game :/ (not too big with 4 floors 20+ rooms). Well I could buy better comp, but I think I'm goin to be bored at this soon :P.
My little sister went totally berzerk when she heard that I have sims2, so now shes buying a new comp ^^
I left my offspring in the kitchen and got it to set alight, im satan.

Yeah, I agree. Some people, like my girlfriend, can play it forever and be perfectly content. I will admit there are some nice features and enhanced gameplay that I enjoy but that's about it. Errr... maybe also the building; I guess it just brings out the architect in me, lol.

played it for 5 hours today... and i think i'm just about done with it.. there are a lot of new features.. but it is still basically the same game as sims 1... go to work, fill your needs, upgrade your skills, etc...
