Working in squads (with a Voice Comm organizer) is pretty fun though. HW peeks into the room to see if coast is clear. He might take some damage, but medic is there to assist, then me (solder) pyro come into the clean the room.



But then the whole room has to listen to us

I haven't ordered it yet, so I can't play the beta, but I do know that Fortress Forever is an excellent mod based on TFC. And it's free

was looking forward to it until i DL the quake wars demo and realised im really over the twitch shooters was a sad day for me. long live supreme commander and the forged alliance!

Fortress Forever > Team Fortress 2

Although it regards itself as a port to the Source engine, they've really brought over true TF along with some excellent new additions (Sabatoge!). I have a lot of fun with cloak (crouching+sneaking to enemy lines). SG have some L-O-S issues and HWs are crazy. Pyro is absolutely perfect, I can't imagine any possible way to tweak it for the better. The Flame Multiplier x3 is hard to pull off, but fun to try and execute. I haven't tried Scout or Sniper yet.
And concing on Dustbowl

TF2 is.............wheelchair basketball.
