Born, bred and residing in Ghent Maxim Lany has been into music for as long as he can remember.
The record collection of his parents quickly led him to the game of dj’ing and he has not looked back since.
Starting with your typical ‘for my friends’-parties and creating those first bedroom mixes it did not take long before more people took notice of Maxim’s dj’ing skills and over the years he became one of the main players on the electronic music scene.
Like any self-respecting dj Maxim also ventured into music production.
With his partner Ramon Tapia a.k.a. El Carlitto Maxim has released several well-received tracks. One of the main ones being the 'Highway ep.' on We Play House Recordings.

This record and its positive worldwide response was the trigger to talk to Red D – the label manager of We Play House Recordings – about starting a new record label together that would reflect Maxim’s musical vision and personality. Lany Recordings was born and now Maxim has an outlet for all his musical ideas.
Be prepared to be surprised, because this man has more up his sleeve than you would imagine.
