Yo! You see Thomas Micheal again you tell him to give you his phone number dawg. LOL
Hey dawg I am deeply mad that I got a track that he spun at a rave here in Colorado that needs identified and he was the one who spun it. I've been looking all over hell for it too but I can't seem to get it anywheres. i wish I could find Thomas Micheal and ask him to pull out his vinyls so I can write all the names of his vinyls down and then search for it on the web. Better yet i would portray my way into becoming his good friend and see if he could listen to a sample i have and identify it. You and i know damn good and well that if he played it he has it. And if he played it it could be identified through him. But anyways if you see him again portray your friendship onto him and get his phone number or cellphone/pager number and give it to me so i can contact him. He is my biggest idol in trance history making me his number 1 fan so as soon as I contact him i am going to get the track name and maybe the list for you too from Supernova. I'll do what i can on my end but please try to catch up with him again for me.
Thanks
Ambrosia

4 Year update on Thomas Micheal!
Well, for the record Thomas Michael is a resident deejay of Go Ventures and also spins at Tecknoclub in the lower bottoms of L.A. He is not really working on anything new lately as the scene is really just dying out in many aspects. However he is pretty hip on what he does spin these days; having gone from a trance legend to a hiphop triphop deejay spinning sexy house and all that other jazzy jazz shit. Anyways he's still good, still alive, still smokes a half pound a sez a week and is getting old, the guy is litteraly 37 years old give or take and has a bummed knee. I became his friend way back in the day and I see him every now and again when he comes to Colorado for a show or I go to L.A for one of his gigs. And the real truth is Thomas Michael is not hiding the fact of names on his vinyls, I mean think about it you got a couple thousand vinyls in a crateful of music and you try remembering what you spun at a party especially when your having a good time such as he does and usually are half baked such as we all tend to get sometime. It's not the deejays fault for not knowing what he is throwing down, but I tell you what, if he had the knowledge you are wanting yesterday knowing what he knows today I am sure what he would be spinning today would make anything from yesterday burn in hell. He's a history man not a procrastinator, everything he does marks history!
Anyways I will tell him whats up for you all as I see him quite often now that we are buds.
Peace out and NO HE DON'T REMEMBER JACK SHIT!

ambrosia, isn't that the dessert with orange and marshmellows?
that's odd that thomas spins for go ventures and tecknoclub, b/c i attend their events, but never see him anymore. he spun an okay set (and barely an hour long?!) at orion earlier this year. i'd told my new raving friends all about him and i was kinda disappointed in his set that night. maybe he just had an uninspiring night. i mean, every other time i'd ever seen him spin, he was amazing. i always felt like dancing to his uplifting progressive trance or hard house, etc. i think the last time before this year that i saw him spin was back in 2000 at club blue for magic wednesdays. i'd ask him after a set what the name of one of his records was and he never knew. LOL i'm still looking for the name of track 8 on his SWEET CANDY LOVE cd (listed below). that's one of my favourite trance cds ever. when i started raving back in 1998, every party that i went to had both thomas and christopher lawrence spinning. those were the days...
i don't feel the scene is dying out (at least not in L.A.). you've still got your massives, your underground parties, and your trance clubs. but i miss the progressive house they used to play in the back rooms when the hard trance would tire you out. :(
he was spinning trip hop? that's cool. i actually made some trip hop compilations on cd that were very popular with my friends.
take care,
DJeW

Tracklist On the way!
Hey RAVEBALLS I will have to bust out the old cds of Thomas Michael and listen to his stuff and see if maybe I can re-evaluate them and give you a rundown of the tracks on the cd's. I have Sweet Candy Love, The Serpent & The Rainbow, Thomas Michael Yellow Cd, Thomas Michael Live @ Hardrock Cafe Las Vegas and a very few of his promo/white labels. I got the cd's from a website that carries all the rarities and hard to find trance cd's. I will have to look up the site and get that to you too just incase you don't have it. I want to say the site is www.pureacid.com and in the myst of the site you will find advance search, just type Thomas Michael in the search string press go and you'll find his cd's!
Well RAVEBALLS I got to bounce out okay! I will see you on the flipside and if you know the track listings to some of these cd's feel free to leave them on the hub okay.
Peace & Love
