The man who kicked off this amazing Mixed Live series finally comes back around to release his second installment, recorded at the Detroit leg of Moby's Area2 Tour. Armed with 3 Vestax tables, 2 pioneer cd players, and of course a microphone in his custom made DJ booth, Carl's crowd control abilities are manifested before your ears on this hard-hitting techno smorgasbord. Guiding you through some hard hitting crowd pleasers, "50,000 Watts" by Blubba Boy, Ian Void's "Dirty Bitch", he digresses a few notches and midway through delivers some steady loopy tracks by Chris Anderson, Samuel L., Oxia, and of course the anthem bomb "D-Clash" by Bryan Zentz. Breaking down and rebuilding a set is one of Carl's best gifts as a DJ, and this cd is testament to his mastery of song progression, as well as deft mixing abilities and mixer manipulation. Throw in his trademark taunts to the crowd, and you have here a type of release that is much more enjoyable than most studio mixes, due to its rawness, minor flaws and obvious "live" qualities. It's a mix that will definitely make you wish you were there live, hearing it over a huge system.
Heres some info about this release, first of all its 2 months early!@!! The only downside is it only came with songtitles and not artist info, this is in perfect quality as usual, we mentioned before we only do official advances. Sorry wish we had some artist info about this but we dont and hope you still enjoy this early pre! ²ÛÛÝ ÞÝ
