Last night the back room was packed start fo finish.
I get to Spundae a little after 9:40 and was lucky enough to find parking right out side arena(WOOT WOOT) I get into Spundae run into some friends got my first drink and went into the back room where Jole Esterline was trowing down some awsome beats. He had the room going off and packed by 10:30.
This was Jole's first time at Spundae and I do not think it would be his last. His Track secltion and mixing where superb. He was playing a nice selction of proggie, houseie, electro tracks. not a single person was standing around. He was also Freaken HOT. (yummm yumm) I met his very nice an pretty gf of chorse(DOH)
After Jole was done Gil LA takes over and mixes Trance nicly into Joles last track. Gil you set was Freaken amazing. I loved every track to layed down. The back room was still packed with everyone dancing it was Great. There where more people in the back room then the main room.
I did go out to catch Dj Skribble. Good mixing just not my style. It was border line noise to me.
So it was back to the back to the back room again where Dyloot took over and OMG \o/ I did not know what to expect from the founder of Skills... but was he was playig blew the roof off of Spundae. He layed down some black crack and threw down this amazing amazing set.
Sumfrog was also in the main room at this time. I went back and forth to see if The main room was being funk-edfied. The shades never came out but I was in the room in time to hear the new D:fuse/Mike H. Track. D:Fuse got into the DJ booth and stared twisting on the controls. And the Track was
After the little antics I went back into the back room again to see Dyloot still tearing the place apart. wow.
After Dyloot it was time to take a little break and hang outside with Julie for a little while. So much fun and cooler
I think it was around 3 when Marc Van Linden took over the decks. I am glad Spundae decided to book him since his gig at Arena got cancled.
And for an hour he played this high energy dance your booty off Trace set. I heard a lot of "older" vandit pvdish Tracks.(\0/) And Tracks I have never heard of before. The dance floor cleared a little bit that dosn't stop me from dancing. I like the fact that I get room to dance and move around the floor if I want too. I really enjoyed Marc's set
After he was done it was time for Club bed. I had such a great time at Spundae. The vibe is always so welcoming and happy there. Eventhough I came alone I was never really alone. I had sooo much FUN!
*cool shirt of the night*- This guy had this shirt on that said " I made glue out of your high horse" with an picture of a horse on it's back in the midddle
*Track that needs placed in to a cd case or record back and never be played again* CONTROL FREEK- any remix of it. It is becoming the SOS(svd remix) of Tracks.
Kris and Sarah you where missed.
I will post my picts soon

Dyloot is a great DJ, the only problem I ever have with him is that sometime he seems to play tracks at a slightly low BPM.
Don't know if he plays them slower than they are intended to play at, or if it's because I always hear the tracks he plays at a higher BPM so it sounds weird to me.
And whenever he plays after a headliner that's playing nice and fast (usually with his partner that makes up Deep Voices), he doesn't really work himself down to his comfortable BPM, but just drops down to it. And it kills the energy somewhat.

Awesome job Gil!
...and that was around 11 p.m.! Sorry, Bob, I was also in the main room for Marc van Linden...my shirt said "Vandit...Berlin" so you woulda been pissed anyway. But, will catch you again real soon, I know your sets are beyond compare!
Was hoping that Marc would come on at 2, but then heard Scumfrog ask at 2:30 if it would be o.k. to play one more track. Marc being a nice guy said sure, but that meant his set was less than an hour and a half.
Excellent night of music for sure, good to see all the usual suspects (you know who you are!), and was a great warmup for PVD this Friday!
