that'll be an interesting scene. i always thought trance + day/pool party was a weird formula... way too speedy for the loungy state of mind i'd want to be in.

Cabanas, Pool party and trance in the 562 just doesn't sound right no offense to anyone

I don't know if I would consider Matt Darey's style trance anymore. Listen to any of his Nocturnal's lately?

Noel Sanger is a resident. Might check this out. Ferry at Wet was easily the most fun I have had at a pool party so, yes, trance can work. At least for me.

Matt Darey doesnt really spin trance. He does but towards the end of his set. I listen to his podcast weekly and your lucky if you get a trance song even at the end. Live he plays more trance but not all set by any means. The dude knows what he'd doing for sure. Heres his latest nocturnal radio show tracklist. He would rock a pool party i think.

01. Depeche Mode - Peace (Phunk Investigation remix)
02. Sharam Jey ft. Nik Valentino - In My Blood (Jamie Fanatic remix) [King Kong]
03. DJ Dan & Hipp-E - Bangin On Ya System [InStereo]
04. DJ Fist - Kamikaze (George F Tekk Tribe remix)
05. DBN ft. Madita - Asteroidz (Sultan & Ned Shepard remix) [Yoshitoshi]
06. Itamar Sagi - Dramatical (John Shelvin remix) [Shelvin]
07. Oliver Lang - Pressure Drop (original mix) [Fris]
08. Miro - By Your Side (Souzz remix) [Blow Out]
09. Tina Ted - Remember The Sound (original mix) [Gardenia]
10. Elfsong & Aeron Aether - Kaivalya (original mix) [Silk Digital]
11. Way Out West - Melt (album mix) [Distinctive]

The majority of the stuff he plays now is progressive house. Every now and then I'll hear a breaks or techno track. His last guest mix was by Aeron Aether and it rocked!!

He played prog house last time he was at Circus and promptly cleared the place out from what I heard. Think he told the partiers he was going to educate them or something when he got on.
