I've been thinking of making a cue tutorial, with pictures and stuff. Maybe you could do that, since you've already got a headstart on the written part.

Let's say your given a live set in MP3 Form that you never heard before and you want that on a CD with broken up tracks but still with the continuous liveset feel.

1. Listen to the entire MP3 but only find the ending and beginning of each song(transition points)Write down the time where each one occurs. That will be the track 01 - last track
Note: This should only take 5 - 10 minutes based on your listening skills.

2. Use these times in the CUE file(TXT document)
beginning of first track: 00:00:00
...
...
End of last track:XX:XX:XX

3. Convert your MP3 to WAV form(Winamp)

4. Use the folder location and name of the already converted WAV file and incorporate that into your CUE File

5. Open up your typical CD burning program(Nero, etc.)

6. Load the Blank CD into the Drive

6. Select "Burn Image" and then select the CUE file

7. Hit next, wait, and wallah

Then open your .cue file (rename it to .txt and open it)
See this line: FILE "the name of the mp3 file.mp3" MP3
Change it to: FILE "the name of the wav file.wav" WAVE
note: make sure it says WAVE and not WAV,
and make sure the .wav and .cue are in the same folder.
Now save that .txt, don't forget to rename it .cue
