You gotta love the Scots.

Anti-war MSPs have spoken out against US President George W Bush's visit to the UK and his administration's foreign policies.
The Scottish Socialist Party (SSP) condemned the visit and called for Mr Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair to be tried for war crimes.

An SSP debate on the subject of "world peace" allowed other MSPs to condemn the actions of the US and UK in the Iraq war.

First minister's questions, which was to have followed the debate, had to be delayed for several minutes after a protest from the public gallery by a man wearing a George Bush mask.

BBC Scotland political correspondent Glenn Campbell said the man, Kevin Williamson, was better known for his protests about the use of cannabis.

Mr Williamson had been signed into the parliament by the Scottish Socialist Party, whose MSPs clapped as he made his protest, our correspondent said.

When parliament resumed, Presiding Office George Reid rebuked the MSPs who had applauded the demonstration.

--- You gotta love the cannabis part, I just imagine him saying "down with Bush, legalise weed, reefer, Mary Jane" or whatever the Scotts call it.

You’ve also got to love the Scottish members of the Parliamentary Labour Party who voted for foundation hospitals in England & Wales even though they won’t be implemented in Scotland.

I will politely and respectfully respond to this, I have no idea who you are, but if you do not care for my threads then I would advise you to please ignore them, being an absolutely condascending individual leaves a lot to be desired. If you fully read my thread, which you clearly need to do, my main focus was on the cannibus commentary from the BBC as opposed to the entire article. I can care less if Scottish MPs don't like G.W.Bush, for the most part, neither do I. I have my political views and apparently so do you, whatever happened to tolerance and discussion. Have a good day, you need to, based on the fact you found it necessary to respond with such a commentary to a thread you didn't like. Forgive me for being a proud, opinionated American in a political discussion forum. Since I can tell you are a huge fan of the U.S.A. God Bless America

Hey iLoveDave, how many ways can you spell jackass now apply it to yourself and you found something else to love. Thankfully not everyone on this board is a rude, disrespectul mule, unlike you. I would expect better from a Canadian, but it's a stretch with some people who lack the ablility to express themelves in a civilized manner. Coming out of your face to disrespect someone you don't even know demonstrates your lack of maturity. Have a good day dick.

First off I made a post, someone chose to get out of their face and return a disrespecful reponse, I don't even know who the hell you are and yet you choose to make a comment towards me directly, stick to political discussion or STFU. If people choose to get personal on this forum then they have crossed boundaries, and I will do likewise. I have never even held a discussion with you in the past, so I have no clue as to what or who you are.

Apparently you seem to have a problem with Americans in general maybe you should find another forum to spew your sentiments because you won't get very far with me on this forum, I have nothing against Canadians and whatever your view of Americans are you might want to stay away from launching personal attacks on people you don't even know. Its pretty ignorant and tactless.

Oh people get personal on here all the time....I'm here to shake it up a little and see what people are really about. How can you see what someone is made of if you only see one side of them. Anger is the most powerful emotion..much can be learned on how someone reacts with anger. By the way I'm not here to make any headway with you anyways....or make friends or anything...I've been on here for a longtime and the crap that comes on these threads by mostly the americans on this side is ridiculous. I don'thave a problem with some american people. I have a problem with the politics. But it never changes.... ever!

Here is how you see how what someone is made of if you intend to see more than one side of them, you hold a respectful, frank and direct discussion on the political issues, instead of launching into a disrespect from left field, I have probably spoken way too much on this issue, So I bid you farewell, as I go and watch the second period of the Rangers-Avalanche hockey game.
