Kerry the Dolphin Part 2

Well let me start another thread on this potential new leader that will take over presidency.

We are talking about the guy who never mentioned his senate duty in his speech. Yes the guy who blew by decades from his time in vietnam and jumped straight to today. Why didnt he mention his senate accomplishments? Because the contradict with what he stands for today. We all know what is going on so i wont dwell on that (see war votes)

What i plan to argue is about vietnam veterans. I was listening to a radioshow and then I saw an interview on msnbc about Vietnam war veterans. All came to a conclusion that purple hearts mean shit especially in the vietnam war. We are talking about a man who was in the war for a mere 4months and applied for purple hearts to push his own ambition.

Most veterans do not want to go through the hardship and time consuming efforts to apply for the purple heart.
I quote an individual, "Purple hearts are basically being at the wrong place at the wrong time"

We are talking about John Kerry the man who went into Vietnam with a camcorder and filmed his duties for future political use(in case he ran for office). As well he also went back to battle scenes with his camera and re-enacted the battle scenes to further push his own ambitions for the future in case he ran for political office.

Not to mention that he was a war hero who abandoned his war comrades and came back to the USA to protest the war.

This man doesnt even know who he is, He has even jumped from marriages back and forth.

I mean i understand how Bush signed up for the Coast Guard, but i myself would feel much more proud of a man who decided to do this than a man who went to war for a short time, came back since he recieved what he wanted (purple hearts), and then protested the war. Not to mention all his other flip flops.

I mean Look at Bush, of course he has had his issues but for fuck sake look at his wife, he is married to a librarian. Kerry divorced his first wife for political reasons.
So without further arguments lets loook at :

Kerry's 'Swift Boat' Officers Not Pleased With Use of Photo

This photograph of John Kerry and 19 other Coastal Division 11 Swift boat officers was taken at Ton Sun Nuht Air Base on January 22, 1969, immediately following a meeting with General Abrams and Admiral Zumwalt.

The Kerry campaign featured the photograph in an advertisement released in May titled Lifetime. Swift Boat Veterans for Truth contacted surviving members of this group to find out how many actually support John Kerry, and discovered that of 19 Swift boat skippers pictured other than Kerry, 11 consider him unfit, 4 are neutral, two have died, and 2 are working with the Kerry campaign. Four other officers were not present for the photo session; all oppose Kerry.

Only 2 of John Kerry's 23 fellow Swift boat commanders from Coastal Division 11 support his candidacy today.
Those other officers were never in his group.

Lets also look at his war record in more detail.

Heres a nice Article straight from his war record.

Link

Let me pull out some nice quotes.

quote:
Mr. Kerry was assigned to Swiftboat 44 on December 1, 1968. Within 24 hours, he had his first Purple Heart. Mr. Kerry accumulated three Purple Hearts in four months with not even a day of duty lost from wounds, according to his training officer. It's a pity one cannot read his Purple Heart medical treatment reports which have been withheld from the public. The only person preventing their release is Mr. Kerry.

quote:
By his own admission during those four months, Mr. Kerry continually kept ramming his Swiftboat onto an enemy-held shore on assorted occasions alone and with a few men, killing civilians and even a wounded enemy soldier. One can begin to appreciate Zumwalt's problem with Mr. Kerry as commander of an unarmored craft dependent upon speed of maneuver to keep it and its crew from being shot to pieces.

quote:
Mr. Kerry has already confessed his complicity in killing civilians as "accidents of war. "However, he has offered a classic Nuremberg defense that this was not only a commonplace occurrence throughout the Vietnam War, but he was carrying out a policy "with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command."

Why hasnt Moore endorsed Kerry?
hehe
quote:
Kerry broadcasts his receiving a "purple heart" medal for three wounds, getting him honorably discharged. In addition he got a gallantry medal for being gunboat captain on the Mekong Delta. Democrats like to underline that Kerry is more commendable than Mr. Bush, the latter copping out of overseas duty by joining the Guard. That obviously says what the Democrats think of those who sign up and serve well in the National Guard. May the Guardsmen and women remember that when it comes to November.

quote:
It is the after that phase, which you failed to write about, ending the war. You slandered your own men, Me personally, and every other soldier that wore the uniform . The lives you cost are sickening. Yes John, you have blood on your hands, they are on "The Wall" untold hundreds, 2 MIllion South Vietnamese civilians after we left, 750,000 South Vietnamese to re-education camps and mine clearing, 2 million dead Cambodians in the Killing Fields. CW2 Richard Worthington and others is in a hell hole in Laos or North Vietnam because of your "End The War, and Screw the troops attitudes and politics". You put Money in front of lives, Lies in front of truth, and to me you are a traitor and belong on the same page as Ramsey Clark, MacNamarra, Jane Fonda and others.

Here's something else to add to this thread. As of today, the #2 seller on Amazon.com is a book by John O'Neill and other swift boat veterans entitled "Unfit For Command."

There are 97 days to the election. How long before people realize the Kerry campaign is a Potemkin village? Will they understand in time, or will it take 4 years and 97 days?

Yea I order my copy already.

GOP convention will definitely highlight some of these "achievements"

Also worth mentioning...setting aside Bush's "issues"

I stand by Bush because he appeals to me and people want a president who has declared his stance on issues and not flip flop.

Now that we know Bush is a steadfast, one trick mule, what road is that leading America down, and its nice to see how revered and respected our nation is for our current actions.

Wow, oh no civilians were killed by U.S. Soldiers, such a shocking revelation. I simply cannot believe it Oh yeah that's right that little war in Iraq given the ultimate go ahead by our Commander in Cheif(I use the term lightly) hasn't killed any civilians though. He just gave the orders for war right.

P.S. How many men who served in Vietnam have criticized the War after coming back home and being reputiated by the public. Ultimately the U.S. ran out of Vietnam because it was a lost cause wether you can admit it or not. Maybe if Bush had fought in Vietnam he might have thought twice as well but wait he didn't did he.

I guess people dont want to know who kerry really is

I'm sorry I'll defend Kerry and not bash Bush as soon as you do likewise, Kerry the Dolphin and Kerry the Dolphin 2

P.S. I read your posts trust me, I figured you had summarized your main points out of your quotes, those were the essence of your statements anyway, why do I need to read 10 pages.
