The New Hampshire Debate

Anyone else watching this right now? Pretty entertaining so far. Will comment more once the debates are over.

It's in Edwards' and Obama's mutual interest to attack Hillary now. Accordingly, they both teamed up to launch a serious attack against her -- which made her really pissed.

Yes I believe that little tirade she launched in order to promote her 35 years of experience will end up backfiring on her. As amusing as it was to watch, she lost her cool and proved more to voters just how much of a conceited bitch she can be. I will give it to her though that she regained control and made a good comeback later on in the night, but I believe the winner of this debate is a tossup between Edwards and Obama. Edwards impressed me a few times at just how passionate he is in ridding Washington of the lobbyist and special interest group menace that has been hurting the middle class and styming change. However, I wanted to hear more talk about what they plan on doing to fix the economy if a recession does in fact hit, and I wanted to hear their views on the illegal immigration problem, which suprisingly, wasn't even brought up by Charles Gibson.

On the Republican side, I simply feel disgusted by how out of touch mainly all the candidates are. How most of them still seem to be kissing Bush's ass and giving him far too much credit on his foreign policies and how most of them (With the exception of Ron Paul) seem to be in favor for staying in Iraq and possibly engaging in offensive operations with Iran. I'm disappointed to see how weak Ron Paul was in this debate, but I'm glad that at least one of them had the sense to point out how bullying of an approach our military has become of late. But I was left unconvinced when Paul tried to blame the Fed and over generation of money for the huge inflationary prices of health care insurance. That just seemed way too iffy for me. After this debate though, one thing is certain for me, I am definitely not voting for either Guiliani or McCain. We do not need any more over zealous commander in chiefs in office.
