MORE TBA and WMC Details COMING SOON!
In all honesty I'm sure he has a big local contingent that follows him.
As a promoter they don't care about anything other than how he will influence their pockets and he whores himself out enough and has a local following big enough that even though he shouldn't be playing for free; they book him.
Either that or he bugs them every day and tells them they dont have to pay him.
And I decided to listen to the set and it would seem the criticism has been too much for Shwann as it seems he has started to use software! Guess we wrecked his ego!

I can't believe he's playing before Paul Van Dyk. Seems like he's doing something that we're all not...

Say whatever you guys want to say/think about me (won't change a damn thing) but the statement above by DJ Fitt is 100% not true...
And DJ Fitt I've listened to your mixes as well and you definitely know how to mix live... so I know you know the difference between live mixing and using (insert whatever program here) so I'm not really sure why you would make such a false claim???
Attacking me like you know me personally is one thing (anything "you think" you know about me is all made up in your head) but this... this is a "straight up lie".

What kind of equipment do you use? Do you use any software at all? Traktor, Ableton, etc?
I'm done making fun of you. Your sets may never be up my alley, but I respect the gigs you are managing to get. I'm sure if I heard you live, I would probably even enjoy it.

Levels is...decent...damn better than a lot of the shite dominating the charts at the moment. It sounds absolutely nothing like...a billion and one similar tracks in this big-room style. I always had a soft spot.

How do you even get these gigs anyways?
A Pioneer 800 mixer, a pair of 800 CDJs, and a Tascam DR-1 Portable Recorder... and that's it. If I mess up I start all over again... been doing this now for only about 10 mo. so "start-overs" definitely happen.
As far as getting gigs... well, as you most likely already know there's not just one specific factor. Wish I could be more specific... but if you'd like to know more about my strategies PM your number and I'd be more then happy to tell you how I go about staying on the promoter's minds when it's time for them to pick openers.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think my region has much of a psytrance scene. Plus, I wouldn't ever have any time, this is just a hobby
Btw, I can tell you (this forum) one tip that I find is "golden" when it comes to getting gigs (but according to the promoters I know hardly any DJs do ever this???)
The day before an event... call the promoter and ask him if they needed any help handing out fliers for their next event. Yes, it seems so obvious but hardly any DJs are willing to do this... you're already at the event and handing out the fliers takes no time at all...
This might come off as kissing ass to some, but to me it's smart business.
