30 Minute Techno Guest Mix on Surge Radio... available to download
I played a half hour mix of funky techno from 9pm on Dave King & Olly Perris' trance, techno and hard dance show Adrenaline on Surge Radio on Thursday night to help Dave through a solo show with Olly away for the week.
It was all totally unplanned and very much last minute... I popped into the studio to say hi to Dave and he told me to run home and get some records!
This guest mix can now be downloaded from the following link:

Funky techno!
Really enjoyed the mix, I felt that maybe the effects could have possibly been used more sparingly, but it wasn't much of a concern.
Any plans for another full length mix?
Your ThreeTechDeckno, Limited Edition and Notice Your Ears sets are all in my multichanger

Cheers, I didn't actually have any effects available to me for this mix, just a 2 channel mixer with eq and a crossfader... that was about it! Or are you referring to the little bits of cutting etc?
I will be recording some new hour long mixes at some point... tbh it's a bit overdue now, meant to do one in September then one in October but just haven't got around to it! Chances are the next techno one will be a techno & trance or techno & breaks combo of some kind, we'll see.
Really pleased that you like my previous mixes that much thanks for the support

01 Kobaya - In G Master =
03 Tim Track - Track It Back =
very cool.
nice mix, perhaps a little too much of the old fader action... but having said that i think that if u used it a bit more sparingly it could add alot to the mix. nice and energetic and im glad u fit a decent number of tracks in a half hour set. i likey.

Wow! I never knew that Techno could sound so funky. I've never really listened to much techno, and definitely not anything like this
Pretty cool mix, mate . Obviously, you were doing lots of messing around with cutting and tricks, rather than just beatmatching, and I definitely give you kudos for trying different things.
Had a listen the full way through, and this shit is AWESOME!
Do you have any longer mixes I can download? This sounds great, I can't believe I've never really listened to a tech set before....
I've been missing out!
Are Carl Cox and Tomaz vs Filterheadz stuff classified as "funky techno" as well?

P.S. That little bit at 7:00 sounded cool as fuck.
What's the name of the track(s) at that part?
P.P.S. Discogs tells me that "Hisjam" is a series of six releases where DJ Misjah reworks classic tracks. Is the final track in your mix, which is a rework of "blue monday", on the 1st Hisjam release?
Sorry for all the questions mate

Re any longer mixes - I've got an hour long techno mix ("Notice Your Ears") on my website if you fancy checking it out: click here, or an older hour long mix ("Threetechdekno") currently being very kindly hosted by Acute (Mef): here
