DJ Fitt Presents: Fridays With Fitt Mix #17 (Peak Time Bassline Trance)

Fridays With Fitt Mix #017 - (136 BPM) - (2hrs 5mins)

Hey guys here is my new mix! The Peak Time Bassline Trance description in the title should explain most everything. This is pretty much exactly my style of trance (and the type I produce (faster prog and uplifting trance at 134-138 bpm-ish. I absolutely love progressive trance but when you're just trying to blow people away or close down a place it's just not AS conducive as full on banging trance like this. mMmmm BASSSSSSS!

1 - Anguilla Project - Nightmare Creatures (STERiO Remix)
2 - Barry Jay - Infused (Adam Whites Perfecto Bigroom Mix)
3 - Fender Woods - Hold On Me (Rafael Frost Remix)
4 - David Forbes - Sunrise (Tritonal's Air Up There Remix)
5 - JPL - Forgetting What You Are (Carl B Remix)
6 - Amster Dyen Pres. Airplay 47 - Be Free (Mat Zo Remix)
7 - Smart Apes vs. Anna Lee Ft. Kate Miles - Perfect (Existone Dub Mix)
8 - Ernesto vs. Bastian - Killer Tone (Original Mix)
9 - Push - Voyager (Klems Remix)
10 - Fei-Fei - Never Forget (Klems Remix)
11 - P.A.F.F. Pres. KSP - Don't Give Up (Original Mix)
12 - Simon Patterson - F16 (Original Mix)
13 - Viator - Rangiroa (Octagen Remix)
14 - Ernesto & Alex Fisher - The Spring (Original Mix)
15 - DJ Eco - Lost Angeles (Breakfast Remix)
16 - Rafael Frost - Black Box (DJ Fitt Red Re-edit)
17 - Josh Gabriel Pres. Winter Kills - Deep Down (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix)
18 - Raver Ft. Tiff Lacey - Conscience (Original Mix)
19 - Element One - Oasis In The West (Original Mix)
20 - DJ Eco Ft. Simon Latham - What Do You See? (DJ Fitt Outro Edit)

Have the day off tomorrow which means I'll be putting down next weeks mix. I know things have been busy around here lately so giving this a final bump before I post the new mix!

I too have never heard anyone use the term "bassline trance." I kinda got the feel of it after listening to the first few tracks. Technically it was mixed well, but I it didn't flow well for me. I'm not sure if it was the tracks themselves, or if they could've been rearranged. I was doing some work when I listened to the mix, so maybe I was just preoccupied. I still enjoyed it and I know others will too.

Thanks for the criticism. I will definitely look into that because you're the first person that has said something about the flow. It's always my first priority when putting together a mix so I'm going to look into it and see if there's something that could have been avoided/changed. Of course it could just be you too but there are no issues with looking into it.

I can't believe people have never heard a bassline trance moniker used before though. Hmm..
