Ziptnf - Synthetic Science [suomi trance/wtf is this sh*t]

This mix is a wonderfully weird interpretation of suomi trance. I've always considered this genre to be filled with tracks that can't exactly be classified into specific genres. Suomi doesn't really follow the same rules that the rest of psytrance does. In some cases I preferred the genre confusion of other tracks over "traditional" suomi.

If you're expecting this set to flow all nice and purdy, you're in the wrong thread. Synthetic Science is always changing speeds, styles, and moods. Those who make it through the last two tracks will have beaten the final boss of all my mixes

Tipper - Open The Jowls (VIP Mix) [Tippermusic]
Artifakt - The Runner [Organik Media]
M.E.E.O. - Wilder Beast [Mental Sauce]
Circuit Bent - Into The Outpsyde [Morning Monster Records]
Outolintu - Human Boing [Faerie Dragon Records]
Shiwa 2000 - Hyppypiertari [Hippie Killer Productions]
Haltya - Rainbow Funkster [Exogenic Record]
Weblet - People Juice Eater [Morning Monster Records]
Siaqua - Bring it Again [Morning Monster Records]
Chromatone - Dub Divider [Nano Records]
Texas Faggot - Back To Mad [Exogenic Records]
Crazy Astronaut - Breakdown [Osom Music]
Strahlenkater - Mathematischer Fehler [Mitnal Records]
Lullaby & Goodnight - Experimento Concerto [Mitnal Records]

Ziptnf - Synthetic Science (87:26) 160MB ~256kbps

This might be the best mix cover I've ever seen. Totally makes up for your previous ones.

Will listen in the next couple of days.

It's actually called Suomisaundi
I personally love Haltya. Very jazzy feeling in their tracks.
Gonna download this mix.

Did you miss Human Boing on the tracklist?

Yes, Hamid, that's the proper name, I just used the nickname. Thanks for downloading!

right on, haven't listened to much Suomisaundi in my lifetime but i know a few tunes. especially since someone mentioned that texas ******t track in a chatroom once, like 8 years ago. i remembered it as the psytune that sampled the backstreet boys. yeah, this mix was fun. tunes was for the most part very good. one or two lesser interesting tunes. the mixing was good but there was one transition it think that the shifting from one bassline to ther next one made it loose energy. but ye, that was a minor thing. flow wasn't harmed because of that. quality stuff right.

Thanks tony! I really like this mix, it's all over the place, but has lots of fun tunes. I appreciate the listen.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I imagined. In the past I passed off Suomisaundi as crap, but it's got more merit than I thought. It's funny, ignorant people say that dance music is for taking drugs, but this stuff is really druggy. Like Shongle or Younger Brother, it's got that short attention span, zany/wacky/goofy aspect to it which makes so much more sense when you're on acid or shrooms.

I think this is your best mix yet, mate. Interesting tunes, mostly natural mixing, and a pretty solid flow. However, the reason I say that is because there were tracks in here which I couldn't listen to by themselves, but you gave them enough context that they made sense and were more enjoyable. I think this is probably the highest compliment you can get as a DJ, too: making bad music sound good. There were things I outright liked though. There were some great drum 'n' bass-type tracks and the 'hippie with one drum' sample was hilarious. I wouldn't really listen to most of this stuff at home, but at a big outdoor party, it'd be heaps of fun. Great work.
