Holy shit!!
This is a seriously AWESOME mix. I listened to it twice back to back, and I absolutely love it.
First off, the transitions are very tight together and sound perfect to me.
And second, I think your track selection is really really good. I usually like more vocals in my mixes, but you manage to have an amazing mix nearly without vocals. When I see a tracklist containing a lot of artists I haven't heard of, sometimes those mixes wind up being somewhat boring with only some good parts. But this mix, even though I've only heard of a few tracks (cosmicman, matti, insigma, rapid eye, AvB, A&B, modulation), is absolutely astounding! The whole thing is good, not just part of it. And I was right- I Love You was the perfect way to end this mix.
Great job on fitting 19 songs in there, and keep up the really good work! More TA's should listen to this mix

Hey together!
Sorry for my late answer, i was in holiday for a long time;-)
Thanks for your positive feedbacks. I´m really happy that you like my mix.
"I love you" is indeed a strong track and surely a worth piece of sound to end a set... Yes, I have the vinyl, luckily;-)
So, the next mix will follow soon...
Peace, Sandro.

hey there Rhythmo...
I dl'ed your mix, and I love it. I played it on my radio show for "guest night"
I do have a few little criticisms...
Your mixing skills are very tight, perfect beatmatching and you have an excellent sense of making the transitions sound good harmonically. My only criticism on the technical side of things is that you seem to mix in the next track really early, like right after the main melody of the current track is finished. There doesn't seem to be a lot of regard for the way that the energy and buildup of each new song complements that of the one thats currently playing. It just sounds like you're in a major rush to get into the next track. I think the mix would benefit if you took the time to establish a flow of energy between tracks instead of just slamming into the next one each time. Also, in some transitions there were some clashes in the melodies, but that's minor
My other comment is again, about the energy of the mix...your track selections are great but they're all anthemic and heavily melodic, so the energy level is right up there for the entire set...as one of the judges in the last MP3 mixing competition said, truly great sets are really made great by a certain ebb and flow of the energy levels. Try seeing if you can do a mix that's a little more varied, that establishes and changes a mood...I hope I'm not sounding too harsh, it's just my suggestion to make the mix more intriguing and atmospheric, rather than sounding like just a string of anthems.
Overall though you did an excellent job. Track selection/play order could do with a little more thought but your technical mixing is great. Keep up the good work!!

Heya Shadowmaster.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. It´s cool that you analyzed my mix very carefully.
About your critics: I give you in both points totally right.
1. The mixing: I mix both, Hardtrance and Melodic Trance. So, when i mix harder Trance, I mix always after the first break to speed up the mix. In Melodic Trance i change my mixing always a bit. In this case I found it possible to mix after each first break because there are nearly all tracks that just "repeat" the melody in the second one. I for example made also once an L-VEE mix and there, only 12 tracks were on it because there I mixed as you said more or less at the end of the track. (hope you understand what I wanna say...)
2. The tracks: This mix was a total happy one, I know. Usually I try to build up, but in this case, I just wanted to put my melodic favourites of 2003 on it and because of that it got so uplifting.
So than, thanks again for your tips. It´s very helpful to hear something like that.
Greeetz from Sandro.
