One of the top Chill-Out mixes I have ever heard (not mine ha)
I have been browsing the type records site for a few days now, and for anybody who is unfamiliar with the label, they release a lot of down-tempo to classical stuff. They have a part in their homepage devoted to mixes, which I think is really cool, as these types of mixes are hard to find...
Reference Points is a very interesting mix from Aeiou, formally of Default (UK). The mix definently has a very melancholy mood that is preserved throughout, often venturing into the surreal at points. Heavy use of classical elements and even a good deal of electronic effects to put a spin on it. Overal, for any of you guys who have been a fan of Coded Audio's "chill-out" mixes, this one stands right up to his best efforts, if not surpassing them (sorry Coded). Enjoy.
