Alright Mr. Nilsen...here art my thoughts:
Again I am going to have to comment on the title because it seems kind of inaccurate to me yet last time when I pointed out that it comes off in a humorous way I don't think we kind of agreed on how. But anyway, that's just a very small thing, but to me, maybe half of this mix was actually techno. The rest is pretty clear-cut tech house. Like I said, I'm just busting your chops more than anything else
As for the actual mix. It was good. The mixing was very smooth, in fact overall I'd say it was more so than most of the other mixes I've heard from you. There were really no slip-ups or anything, it worked very well. Flow was great and the music kept me grooving for the 1.5 hours or so that I was at the gym.
Not much else to say. I think you tried to capture a personal experience with this mix, one that I wasn't a part of so it's a little hard to comment on how accurately you hit the mark in that regard.
Personally, I'd like to see you do something more interesting in the future. So far you have done a good job (from what I heard) of compiling club tracks and presenting them that way. I would be interested in hearing you go a little deeper though, more experimental, and maybe trying to do something more adventurous, with an overall concept, rather than a selection of newer club tracks. I mean I enjoy your mixes, I don't think I'd keep listening to them if I didn't, but like I said, it'd be nice to hear you do something more intricate.
