Corderoy v Matt Darey - Sweetest Dreams (Into these arms)

The Ferry Corsten mix of this fantastic uplifting track was just dying for some vocals. I'm not usually a fan of mash-ups but felt compelled to put one together in this case!

Please let me know what you think about this version - I think it works rather well....

Thumbs up

Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams is one of my top ten all time favorite tracks . This is awsome Very nice work , perfect match for those vocals with the music . I have to admit that it's a release material . Will you have a longer and better quality version of it ? I'd love to spin this track . 10/10

Glad you guys like it - I agree the vocals seem to work particularly very well with the tune.

Not quite sure how I can make it any longer though... it's the full 10m30s as it is! The file linked to in the first post above should be 14.5mb in size and is encoded at 192kbs. Let me know if there are any probs downloading it.

I'm not quite sure how I can get more people to hear it, which I'd like to do. I'd post a link in the main forum, but I'm not sure if that's frowned upon or not. Any ideas?

Yup, works very well.

But is it just me or does the actual sound quality sound more like 96kbps or something?

Listening to it again I can see where you're coming from in that there's a lot of high-end hiss on the recording, but this is what my orgininal version of the Ferry Corsten remix sounds like (I dont have a turntable and for my sins got the tracks from TrueMP3s.com).

I'll have to look out for a CD version of the track as I'd like to hear it in its full glory, and then be able to re-edit the vocals onto it.
