Hi Arash...
This is too minimalistic. Sometimes it works, but with such a shallow intro it doesnt. You've got some great guitar licks, but its just lacks depth. Try adding a thicker pad or some lusher strings in behind...the one you use isn't adding anything. Melody line is simple yet good. SOunds like the most basic general midi instruments too, not a great synth selection. I can appreciate that you want it chilled and simple, but try adding some variation to the guitar melody, and DEFINITELY put some more reverb on everything! Very dry. Good attempt, worth revisiting! Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I need to get a better mic/soundcard to record more guitar melodies, since my freebie modem mic isn't cuting it anymore
I just have a question about the synths your talking about. Are they the bassline and the light pad sythns. How should I change the bassline and should I leave the pad and add more strings to it? What about percussion, should I add more beef to it as the song progresses. I found the most difficult thing for this song was finding an appropiate way to do the intro. Is just the guitar melody not exciting enough for the first bar? Should record and more exciting plucking of the chords or do an electronic intro?

Well, I'm no expert, but what I like is more. You're just missing some elements...like instead of giving us that guitar lick/hook, you should tease us with it more...maybe allude to the theme without giving it away totally. Just play a few of the first notes and then build it up with better pads. Those pads just don't sound thick/stringy enough. It needs a deeper synth pad AND some spacious reverb to make it sound BIGGER I think. So, work on the pads and a better evolution to the song. Maybe rework the guitar melody so its a bit longer...otherwise it becomes to repetitious, see? A longer guitar lick will mean you can tease us a little more too. Start with a few of the first few notes and gradually throw a few more in until you have a break...then WHAMMO! Give us the whole nine yards of your guitar hook and repeat it as you OUTRO...
This is just my opinion. Hope it helps somewhat man! And thanks for checking out mine as well!
