Smiling Frog Hi ho silver!

...sorry...had to.

This is a very clear sounding track...you EQ'ed it perfectly!!
Like the perc samples you've chosen...very spacey indeed.

Where did you get these background effects!? GOLD, baby! PURE GOLD!

@2:00 This is a great melodic development...nice progression. Very relaxing. Perfect CHILL! Really can't give much constructive criticism...seems great!

@3:50 Very great break! Wish i could build that like you.

I find the melody is very odd...it's melodic..but not catchy. You can't really hum it or nothin, so it doesn't stick in your head.

As a whole, this is an outstanding work! Everything fits from the samples and synths you've chosen to the whole layout of its progression. Lives up to its name!

Oh...and the piano is cool! Good work Silver!

Liking the sine effect from the start.. would maybe sound better introduced somewhere later on.. much like about 1.14, where it is brought back in.

Nice choice of sounds, suit nicely.. could turn into a nice breakbeat/progressive track from the start.

One thing i've noticed whilst listenin, is theres no discernable bass line? synths are there and the levelling sounds spot on.. but i can't seem to hear any bass.. so you might want to make that more prominent in your mix.

need anymore info bout what i mean, gimme a shout

I really enjoy this track !!!
It's original, doesn't sound like all those "trance-formatted" traxx.
Good sine synth, nice progressive feeling, I just close my eyes and relax while listening to this great Trance song.

Respect!

fuck, amazing comments from everybody

@Digital Aura - outstanding work? why that brings a tear to my eye
seriously thats.....extremly great of u to say such word about my work. Can say how greatful iam for that.

well thats the idea u can chill and listen many more times.
Its long and its chill and its not catchy, that was very much intented. Again thank u for such Fantastic comments!

@Dawnson - thats well thought out review there, describing that possibilty, tho Dawnson, iam afraid that introducing it somewhere else is not a option really the intro sounds shitty with out it, and it doesnt really fit coming else where mate its tried and tested

Well Noticed! Very well noticed. There is no bassline, the track will turn into something diffrent if a prominet bass is introduced, the sine is designed to work as a floaty chilly bass that comes in and out supplying those nice low ends.

@Sunquest - Well, we all have duties . No suggestions yet, well great comments there none the less , should be good see what u can point out later

@Ace303 - Ahhhh another fantastic comment , again hugely greatful of it.

i dont get normally to many replys on my music dont know what it is, i revew lots of tracks normally and my tracks still seems to sink alot just like this one almost did . So...a mass of thank yous go out to u lot and Carl Crellin! Hes been an Huggeeee support and i owe him big time.
Make sure to check his music too some time! goes by the name of Stott & Crellin! make sure! U hear 8 Years MASSIVE imo its exactly what is says a story of 8 years its amazing read it and u'l know! all brought to by the amazing skills of Stott & Crellin.

If someone has the decency to listen to your stuff and comment on it, regardless of whether they liked it or not, you owe them the same courtesy!

Thank You Too Silver!

I've been trying to find time to listen this. For some reason I don't have time to do anything now-a-days. Hours just fly by without me even noticing.

Damn nice track there mate..

Everything seems to be in place and sounds clear..

I think the piano sounds slightly distorted (or that could just be my crappy headphones), but somehow it fits the tracks atmosphere.

Hi,
Commenting while listening:
Some slight distortions at the begining. The whole track has a very nice idea . THe main problems are the bass and lead + lack of perc. The bass and the lead could use more resonance, the bass hollow and unrecognized in the track. Nice pads . The piano could use a better EQ itself. Reduce the hardness on it as well.
Good work, keep working.

that sound at the begining is a bit loud i think, and im not sure if the kick and clap suit the track. Also, the progression sounds a bit strange to me, like it suddenly jumps from one section to another, maybe thats the idea, i duno. It just hard to know when we reach the end of the phrase. Lead and pad that come in are nice, but i think bass is quite important, especially in that bit. Perhaps would have worked better as a breakbeat or ambient track, because when the beat starts, it doesnt really fit the ordinary 8 bar phrase structure that it aught to, and thats a bit off putting and strange to me somehow, i cant tell how many bars there are in the phrase, but its not 8 i dont think ,and its not a multiple of 8. Where the phrases end and a new part is introducd or old part lost, like the pad at 3:29, some filter envelopes or fading the volume on the pad mite work well, just to make it smoother, i dont like the bits between 3:51 and 3:54, i think it sounds a bit random and irrelevant. Onto the piano, it could be nice but there are some key clashes which ruin it i think, perhaps put the piano up and octave so you can hear where they sound muddy. It has potential, but i think the phrases are the most confusing thing, ireally cant tell when one starts and ends some times, and i think changing this and restructuring it slightly would make it alot easier to follow, also try and make the phrase transistions a bit nicer so that the song doesnt go straight from one phrase to another. Nice emotion and feel to the track generally, just try some of those things and i think it would be a big improvement. That piano i really think needs sorting out.

Hope this is constructive and that you feel inspired to continue working on the track, ull have a very nice finished project
