Hi all,

Someone told me to post my track here for review.
I told them otherwise because frankly I don't think my trance music is nearly as good as trance music on here.

Nevertheless here is my track. It's nothing special and produced solely in reason.

I hope you enjoy it enough.



implex - expansive (Right Click - Save As...)

Nice track. What you used to produce it? FL, Logic?

The begining is a little too abstract for my tastes...
the melody around a minute sounds nice
the pads and the piano are very nice
2:50ish is very nice
don't like 3:40 much but that's just me...
the rest sounds nice, althoguh the ending could be touched up a little
overall, very nice work

I like that trick with increasing the release on the bass synth in the intro, before the thunder drum/crash. at least thats what it sounded like...maybe it was just a nice sfx.

the melody sound needs more delay and make it so it doesnt die out with the pads. themelody actually sounds pretty good.

maybe select a different sound for the lead - try a nord lead, to sound something like solar stone guitar with more caustic edge, like an acoustic.

the fact that the track goes through changes is good.

i think it sounds too muffled also...which in a way ruins the melodic feel and therefore the feel of the whole track...

Created totally in Reason no mastering.

Hence the muffled sound which makes it sound not so good.

I wish I could produce that Solarstone Guitar sound but i think i would need a VST for that

I think its been done in Reason. Look at the producers section of the forum, it has some tutorials. Do a search.
