Your percusion needs more work. Try layering different open and closed hihats to get more of a driving feel.

Spend more time programming your synths. They sound very thin and digital. Layer, tweak, add filters and stuff. Just get them sounding fatter.

Try and get a 'hook' for your tracks. Something which really pulls the listener in. It could be a cool effect, a catchy melody. Right now, theres nothing which pulls me in. It just feels very standard and the melodies are boring.

On the plus side, you have managed to get a very clean sound which can be an asset when you start layering things.

Good luck and keep at it =)

hi im listening right now...

Myopia - those pads/strings are pretty cool. That kick at the beginning could be better. Did you use Waldorf Attack or something? Try using samples instead, and also layer the kick so its not just one sound. I agree that it doesn't really have a trance melody. The chord progression in the intro pad is good though. Also some of your synths are too loud - try making them softer but add another synth with a different pattern.

Echo fields - nice intro and fx, however I think the morphing synth is too prominent. Try having it in the background (i.e. softer in volume) and adding some other element on top. Did you use the bass sample that comes with FL studios?

Try composing in a minor scale and it may make your tunes sound more trance like. The pad that starts at 3.15 in Echo Fields is good. Just add a few more things like that to make the song catchy.

Good luck!

Myopia:

Nice organ style pads. lol I hate the claps.
1.08 why do the organ-pads stop suddenly?
1.28 that poly layer level is too loud.

I think you need to revise your bass drum selection. Not enough 'thump' It will help drive the track

Great effort on this production. I suggest you have a listen to some of the other tracks posted on this forum to help you get an idea of structure & layering. & Keep playing with those synth sounds...
