MPFS Remix Competition

So what’s the big competition?
Well first off let me just stress this is just for fun, whilst there is an exciting prize for the winner (and two runners up) this is all just for kicks.

Ok, so what IS the competition then?
It’s a remix competition. We want you to remix our second single, Yana Kay vs. Alucard – Eyes of a Perfect Stranger. Any style you like, from filthy drum & base to ground braking techno or even reggae if your mood takes it, we don’t care!

And the prize for our efforts?
Well, first place gets you on our promo list. The next five releases will be sent to you directly as we mail CD’s out to all the top name Dj’s in the business. These CD’s quite often include mixes that don’t make the final cut, so not only are you getting something for free, you’re getting a rarity. On top of this we will also send you the melody/accapella/strings or what ever of our next five releases for you to remix with a possibility of signing (stress possibility, don’t get your hopes up!).

And the runners up?
The next two releases will be sent to you on CD during our promo run. Can’t argue with that now can you?

When’s the closing date for this competition?
You have till the end of June 2005. That, according to the calendar on my PC is over 5 weeks away, more than enough time to conjure something up.

Anything else I need to know?
Whilst this competition is open to anyone, we’d much appreciate everyone entering are members of our forum. Not only does this make it easier for us to contact you but it keeps you up to date on any additional rules we may imply or share ideas/insult with other entrants. We also have webspace available if you need a place to save your work, members will naturally take priority of this space.
Please also note EVERY entry will be added to an archive update, so if you don't feel like your able to share your music with the world, why the hell are you entering the competition???

work it out for yourself, the key's a piece of piss to find out. BPM is about 138 according to someone off mpfs i think.

Midi file, pointless personally. They already have the original mix & will holland mix covering the trance imo, so try something creative. The midi file will jus restrict the creativeness.
