Death Cab For Cutie - Soul Meets Body (Stan Void Bootleg Mix)
Hey all,
I think this might be my first post here under this name, I used to post in the music producers section under the alias 'en2t'. But anyway, this is a bootleg rework of one of my recent favorites in the alternative rock world. I think DCFC's sound goes real well with a trance backdrop, and I want to know what you guys think.

hey man,
just listened to this.. sounds really nice.
i really like the lead that you wrote for the track. its very dynamic and catchy.
percussion, bassline, kick, i dunno, everything sounds great. don't really know what else to comment on except that i'd wouldn't mind getting a copy to use in a set. lemme know if thats possible.

Stantheman!
I'm not really a DCFC fan to be honest, but I love what you've done with this track. The vocals sit in there surprisingly well! No complaints on any other points either. Melody is good too.
Really enjoying this one! Thanks a lot for sharing!

Cool track mate! Definitly enjoying the vocals in this. Also seems to have an REM feel to it, which is a good thing.
And any word/news on your OLD tracks (your plummet remix) because I really want it!

thanks for the replies so far guys!
TOR: thanks man, i'm glad to be back around
Fundamental: Yup, his voice sure sounds good with a trance backdrop. Did you know that DCFC's lead singer is also the same guy singing in Postal Service songs?
Rob: Thanks for the positive feedback. My older tracks can probably be found on the DC++ hub, but other than that, I might try to put them up online one last time but not sure when that'll happen.
Stan.

Didn't know that now!
I've listened to this tune many-a-time today. I'm surprised you haven't had more feedback for it to be honest.
I guess most people just haven't heard of Death Cab...
So, did you cut the vocals straight from the original track then?

Yeah, Im diggin this to and I'm also suprised so few people have commented on it. I really really like the part where the chorus kicks in at the end. I think this would be a freakin amazing track if you played the chorus at least once earlier in the track.
