[Uplifting Trance] Dreams - 320Kbps [full]

Here's my latest tune. If you have time to listen, let me know what you think.

I did the mix the best I could, but I have tons to learn about mixing.

I hope you enjoy!

overall sounds good, listening on my monitors, mixdown seems alright....

I think the kick could use a bit more thump, bottom end....has good snap....maybe some more variations with the drums in general......snare roll perhaps needs a fade in, and maybe a double time towards the end of the roll while pausing the kick or something....

synths could maybe use some LFO and various filter automation to bring them to life a little more. get the listener to really feel the frequency swells at the transitional moments.....

Hey, thanks for the listen and feedback. I agree with the snare drums. I should probably do a fade in on them. The kick, as you suggest, could probably be a bit more pronounced.

I dont agree...The way this track sounds gives the whole piece a certain vibe. Maybe the kick could have a bit more low end in it, but I think its really fine how it is...Dont change those synths, they wrok really well. Its kinda cool to hear the synth stay in its color, your leads and what not are good, keep em that way.

Hey! I'm very anxious to hear this.

Alright, nice bass. Its not often you hear tracks start out this way. Nice kick. I'm not sure if I really like the snare roll, but it gets the job done. Awesome strings, really sets the mood. The synth you introduced sends shivers down my spine. The progression is beautiful, the break/synth is very very uplifting. The main is very euphoric, again. This track has amazing potential, I know it hasn't reached its apex. So keep up the good work!

indeed a good production, i think your synths need lfo after 1.20 or so not sure cant c the time on my quick time player, love your melodies, kick defently have to be changed, to more pouding lower/trancy kick. wish u had some vocals, keep workin', dont give up , this track has a lot potential!

peace!

Thanks everyone!!! I'm reading and learning more about mixing, etc. I will definitely remix this in an attempt to make it sound better. Vocals may be a possibility soon....

I appreciate the feedback and the time it took for you all to listen.

Have a great 'rest of the weekend'!!!!

Adam

That's what I meant. I mean mixing down the audio with a better understanding of EQ, compression, etc thus making it sound more professional - hopefully
