Alfi pres snømu5 - Urban Blues (The Sun is Somewhere)
FLStudio + an Oxygen 8 controller = Pure Awesomeness
----
This is a track I recorded live sitting on my bedroom floor. Pretty much just some blues chords over a groovy beat, nothing to spectacular, apart from being the first track where I've done all the automations live in one go (and remembered to record it :P).
I hope you like it, and please comment if you do
Oh and I'm releasing this under a Creative Commons license, so feel free to share it to everyone

i especially liked the 30 secs part with clap only in the beginning. mnml ftw. i think that would have worked out amazing at a party.

Nice one! Really digging the chords and the bass.
Can't hear the blues, though.
well the pad, bass and synth all follow a standard blues chord progression, although i have lenghtened some of the parts so it's 16 bars instad of 12. and the fact that you cant hear it is what makes it urban

i thought that was some recording mistakes lol.
lol, that low sub is what glues the kick and the bass together and creates that kinda rocking groove.
try downloading the 320kbps mp3 instead. better sound quality
some comments on the mastering too would be awesome. first time i really done more than roll of the subs on the master. most mastering was done post export from fl btw. tried out some sweet new plugs and im not trusting the acoustics in this room one bit :P so comments would be nice yeah...
its nice, has these retro, spacey pads and synths. i have nothing to play this with, so you have to make more, a lot more. btw check out my cut and vote alfi.

I quite like this one. Very smooth sound with the synth.

2nd track today to remind me of the cooler style of classic late night house. Very nice vibe on the bass and percs mate.
Possibly the bass sound may need a slight low end end cut or very small level reduction.
Honestly that third high squeaky chord is a bit of a mood killer for me - it sounds like some wasps got stuck in my jam jar lol.
