**It's up to YOU!!! All ye producers....
And I quote, right from the front page of TrancEaddict:
quote:
Singles will be up in a few days, it's getting a lot harder to find tracks that are unique in sound.
- Swamper
Meanwhile, I'm positive a lot of you are CREATING tracks that are unique in sound, and trying to get them to see the light of day.
It's all too easy nowadays to debate endlessly about trance dying, and to say that it's biggest stars are losing their creativity and selling out. Meanwhile, what are you folks, the up-and-coming producers, doing to push the envelope and put creative spark back into this genre?
If you've got a track that boasts freshness and uniqueness and be dead honest with yourself about this, reply to this post. I want innovators here.
If there are enough such tunes posted, I'll put up a significant thread in the main Music Discussion section to draw people's attention.
Thnx

so, you basically need us to reply with our best track, and Swamper will sort out the best to fit on this special new section?

I wanted to reply but I don't feel like a innovator. I try to make half decent trance tracks which sounds like the music I like to listen to.
You said we had to be dead honest and that's why I didn't post my stuff.
To be innovative you need to be influential. If you are just a ordinary hobby producer and you make something which doesn't sound like anything anyone have heard before I personally think that most people will dislike your track. But if you make a track that sounds like Armin Van Buuren you will get praised. And for the records, I don't make music for praise, I make music for myself and music that I like to listen to
Aw, come one attacc, you've made some pretty trance tracks... I liked the loungey feel in it. I don't consider myself as an innovator either, but there aren't many real innovators out there... or are there?
You can always post up your best track and see what the future brings... Who knows it will have a turn on the 'real listeners' as well
Cheers,
Wim

To clear all confusion:
No, Swamper's got nothing to do with this, and he's not making a new section as far as I know.
(And I'm not doing this to show him up. I fully and completely respect what he does.)
I simply quoted what Swamper put on the front page regarding updating the Singles section. I read his comment and I was like "But....but we....and we....we could've.....AAARGH!!!"
All I'm planning to do is post a thread, just like this one, in Music Discussion, which anybody can do.
My point of doing this is that the pros aren't feeding the hungry headz out there, so we gotta feed 'em (if we can).

I wasn't trying to be negative or anything, it's just that I feel that good music doesn't have to be innovative
thank you for compliments, John, I was very happy when I read that. Problem is that the only two tracks I got finished and online are NORDLICHT - Within each of us and TRANCEVISION - The New Earth ( Tranceaddict Comp )...but if TAZ and the people here around would like
Trancevision, I will contribute my tracks...
