Latest Syntagma remixes! Please give some comment

These are two of my latest remixes and yes, one is from the remix competition here on TA, but with improved mastering.
Please take a listen and give me some feedback!

Perpetuous Dreamer - The Sound of Goodbye (Syntagma Remix)

Ernesto vs Bastian - Being Single (Syntagma Remix)

hey m8! i already told ya what i think of the tracks, but since they`re re-mastered, i`ll post my feedback again

being single remix:

nice bassline and cool fx running through the whole track,
the percussion is pretty cool also i like the synths, and the main melody is very cool made, since the original track is some more progressive!
buildup could use some more power.

sound of goodbye remix:

i really like the hardtrance percussion and bassline, very nice done!
very cool fx used also.
original 2nd melody running along with the vocal! thats what makes this a pretty original remix.
the main synth could be a bit more improved, i don`t like it that much, but the rest of the track is very cool

grtz,

dj mantis

feedback form only goes 2 swamper, its easier just to pm one of us mods, listed above the browsing users on the relevant forum.

comments...

both have very nice basslines, maybe not punchy enough, percussion is very good, if not a bit over complex for my tastes remix of being single kinda strays a bit far from its roots imo although the synths work fairly well, and i agree with mantis, it does need more power, the whole tune in power, maybe tweaking the eq on the synth and fiddling with the bass a bit. sound of goodbye remix really works well and sticks more to the lines of the originals than just about any track in the remix comp i heard, hate the tune anyway, so i can't really get into this, same with the being single remix, the sounds, particularly the bass and synth need tweaking a bit more, just play round with the eq until u find something that really brings them out

Luke
