The sound is distorted. Lower the levels, or set your master compressor to limit more. Either way, it sounds like its been pushed way past zero.

Percussion, okay, but nothing special. Its probably the weakest point of the track.

Otherwise, sounds great. I'm being piccy, but a longer sample would be nice.
