Quite an edgy dirty synth lead you've chosen...seems to fit nicely too! Smashin' break at 1:48.... oops...i may have had it too loud! (baby woke up... BAAAD MEF!!! BAD! )
Needs some counter-melody involved I think... something you can layer into this earlier motif for the grand finale!

Listened to Acute Angle. Good ideas here, I like the kinda style you have. Breakdown is great!
I think the lead synth and the bass clash a bit though - maybe some more EQing is needed? Also a few more percussion layers would be good to thicken it up.
Apart from that - get it bloody finished!
