Arrow midaV - Spectral

Had the layout for this track a while back, totally replenished it and turned it into a new tune, give it a listen and comment if you will, enjoy!

midaV - Spectral [4:30]

(save target as)

nice FX in the beginning.. kick should have some reverb on it to give it a huge sound..

composition on the string is good but it's not very trancy

synth at 0:25 is sort of weird.. not sure if it's the synth or the composition

good hi hat FX in the beginning..

waaaay too weak at 1:14.. you should make the build up more powerfull and then come in with a HUGE sound at 1:14

sort of sounds jumbled and messed up at this point..

nice break at 2:00

at 2:40 i'm sort of bored.. dont really want to listen to it anymore.. no really distinguishable melody.. too dreamy.. but even if you like dreamy, it's sort of cluttered and some of the sounds dont sound very good..

over all sound is definitly better than your last tracks (meaning the mastering) - but the musical aspect of it some what lacks from your previous ones..

you seem to be pumping out tracks at high rates.. try spending more time on them.. i've spent months on tracks..

or try working on 2 or 3 at a time.. get to the point where you are sick of one and start another and work on that for a month.. then another.. then go back to the original and fix it with what you learned.. when you go back to that first track you'll be amazed by how bad it sounds

I don't like when the hats come in so early, I love the beginning, but the hats...nah, maybe it's just me though.

The effects are really nice, the claps are too high, I don't like the sound of them, kind of ruins the soft touch which the melody and strings create pretty well. Actually, the claps are horrible at second thought, I'd rather listen to this track without them.

The melody is nice, kicks are alright but not great.
I'm not a big fan of this track. Needs some more time/work into it...

Yeah, The hats come in way too early at the beginning. Otherwise the start of the track is nice..

Kick might be a bit too weak. Nothing serious.

The breakdown was nice..
