Oh, going for a dark chilled piece. I like this.

Percussive effects are cool.

That's a nice sample you're using for a snare.

Synth at 6:11 is a bit harsh sounding.

Nice. You do a good job with all of the FM melodies that run through the song.

thx for listening jex.
considering the harsh sounding, i'm still not too pleased with the whole mixing / mastering. still have to do some refinement on that and would be very glad about some more opinions. come on guys

SO i wonder if psy trance will ever get popular? I wish it does, I know it being undergound is cool, but the lack of it's kinda parties in my area are a bit lame. Everything around here is house and breaks. And the raves that happen here plays this genre of trances called "cyber trance"

ANYWAY,

You track is pretty cool, cause it sounds like it can bridge a link between psy trance and "normal" trance. I like how deep the bassline is. It brings on the drive very well. The breakdown is nice cause the snare keeps the danceablity going, plus its short. Ah there it is, i was wondering when you'd bring in the tonic blaster, (IE a name i came up with for the very fast 16th note basslines psytrance has often).

Your track is quite good, but the synths seem to lack a sorta "pro" sorta touch that makes it sound WHAM!!. I dont know what its missing but there is diffintly something missing.

Wow, I really like this track. Is Johanes Molinari one of your influences? This track really really really reminds me of his 'Fear' album (which I love). This track is totally my style. The bassline is in a nice down tuned key. I am at 4:28 and I am really digging this change up.

Now here comes the real review

-Very nice intro
-Very cosmic sounding
-The synth that comes in at 1:59 is too harsh for a club system, good synth and distortion but just make it more of a background element.
-Your beat counts and timing are all good, nothing drags on or gets boring.
-Great build up but I feel that it should lead into a sort of an explosion @ 4:38
-Nice finish
-Good outro

Needs a build up into a section with the bass absent and then an explosion

The outro is pure class.

I'm not sure if its the 160 kbps but the snare sounds a little too sharp to me

Very nice track. Good build up, rhytm and the bass are excellent. I agree with the synth, a little bit too harsh and maybe you can play with tweaking a bit more to make it sound more pro. intro is good too.

Nice job, is just the main synth what I am concerned by now. Good luck on that dude.

Peace...
