Tainan-Trance

Tainan (First Edit) by Zane Hill

First edit, working on a better melody for the breakdown. Feedback appreciated

Cheers, -Zane

P.S. Soundcloud is the suck.

Nice well balanced track, awesome energy pads, all the elements fit well together - but that main melody needs some work, it's way too basic. You've got a track named "Tainan" with an oriental-vibed plucked lead so given that theme the melody really needs to be something special. Play around with the structure/complexity of it, perhaps add some delay to breathe some life into it - make it more memorable

Nice track overall. I like how you filtered the drums before and on the breakdowns.

I pretty much agree with Novastorm.
The breakdown needs that plucky synth to really stand out.Maybe add a fair bit of short attack delay to mix it up a little.
And as said, with a name like that, the breakdown needs to be pretty epic.
Good tune overall tho.
