It doesn't really grab me, but the instrumentation seems to be very well balanced. i feel like the low end of the percussion (i.e. Kick) could be a bit louder and maybe the BPM stepped up some.

I get the sense you are emulating Pryda here somewhat. Its just doesn't hit nearly as hard and feels a bit drawn out for whats going on in it.

I do find by the end though I do a little toe tap on my chair which means my subconscious is responding some. Keep working man. I'll leave you some spot feedback on the cloud too.

Thats great feedback mate, really appreciate what you are saying. Pryda was a definate inspiration when doing this one.

Understand what you mean regarding the track itself. I'm in the process of doing the mix again, but may not, waiting for more comments. Thanks again.

Bass line sounds good, there's something dragging slightly in the groove, not sure what it is, the percussion maybe? Or the bassline? Try bringing the notes forward a touch - I'm throwing a suggestion out here, no idea if that would work.

Arrangement is fine but when it kicks in after the break, it feels like an anti climax. You need to find a way of building the energy and holding it during the main section after the break. A Prydz tune really kicks off a its peak, this track doesn't quite manage it. Of course, the fact that Prydz production quality is second to none will certainly help

The key area to work on is to get the rhythm to pump along which is paramount to this type of tune. Unfortunately I have little experience in making this type of track (even though I listen to this stuff a lot), so can't help much with suggestions.

This is defintitely worth finishing. With a few adjustments, you could have a quality club track on your hands.

Thanks greg, i'll take all that on board. Its encouraging to know its worth finishing, sometimes you just feel like is it worth it, when you've heard it so many times.

The toned down drop after the break was something I was trying as with a few things in the track. Obviously though it isnt working. I understand what you mean about building up then keeping that energy flowing. I'll make some adjustments, finish this one off and post the updated version up again.

well if you're going for that sort of toned down effect after the break then the break needs to really build up to increase the tension and anticipation THEN when it kicks back in, drop it into something much darker and dubbier (if that makes sense) than what preceded it. Take the listener by surprise. At the moment, it doesn't do this and it doesn't keep the high energy flowing, instead falls somewhere inbetween.

Don't know if I'm explaining what I mean but something to try out perhaps.

I know exactly what you mean, that makes sense. Going by the comments so far think I'll change it so the energy keeps flowing. Think that would suit this track best.

This sounds like a dancefloor orientated track, which is something I find hard to talk about. To me, the track sounds quite bare. There is not enough going on for my tastes and that's the problem I find with club music.

However, I'd imagine you are going in the right direction with this. I'd give the kick more punch/low end and bring the clap out a bit more in the mix. Your synths are quite nice, but I'd like to hear more FX going on to keep me interested.
