Ok, I have uploaded the example to my brothers website:

I have used a strong kickdrum, reverb on the leads (listen to the first lead especially), and the leads are strong too. I have used them from my Micro Q, but you can get similair results with Vaz Modular, a software synthesizer. I prefer to use softer sounds in the background.
Almost all the sounds are presets, but I have made the kick, the clap (from the Waldorf Attack (softsynth)), and the bass myself. I have made bass and lead melodies wich makes it trancy. You used less melody, that's why your song sounds more progressive.
What also is important is that you use percussion, like conga's and bongo's or so. I used very little percussion in the song because it's an example, and I didn't use background melodies and sounds, but they can make your song sound better.
