I have been producing house and dub tracks for a long time. But I couldn't really produce trance. I have tried a lot but I still I can't.(production is difficult!!)
Something is misssing and I don't know what it is.

This track is the best I could make...soooorrry !!!(my first Trance sounding track)

Please help me to produce better.

...the question is how do YOU want your music to sound like(like Ferry Corsten or Paul van Dyk or Astral Projection).

Your style now is very unique, has a lot of Percussion and some strings n stuff.
Most in Trance there is a big(HUGE) bassline wich makes the track sound "fuller"(deeper).
Your sound is a bit more like Deep House.
My last tip( ) Listen to a lot of other pro production AND PRACTISE.

greetings
Tilmann

In deed I want my music to sound like Ferry Corsten but I know I've got a looong way to go,am I right????

You say that I have a very unique style, well, is that good or bad??? Should I be happy to have my unique style or what??? I think I'd better sound a bit like the others COS that's WHAT I WANT !!!

Anyway thanx for your precious advice,
I'll try to make BIGGER basslines but how(by detuning??)

I think you should replace the kickdrum with another one that has more low frequenties, and it should be a harder one. I like your sounds but they could use reverb. If you want to sound like Ferry Corsten you should use more Sawtooth sounds. You make one by detuning two saw waves with -12 and +12 and the put another saw wave or so one octave lower, but I think it's better to use the presets that come with your synths. That will make making music a lot easier I think. Then if your music sounds good could you can try to program them again. Also I think that the lead sound should be more melodic, so that it is more recogniseble. The song is a little progressive but if you change the bass riff in a melody it should sound more trancy.

I can make a example song with some explanation if you want.

Ok, I have uploaded the example to my brothers website:

http://trut.tuuk.net/audio/4DJAhter.mp3

I have used a strong kickdrum, reverb on the leads (listen to the first lead especially), and the leads are strong too. I have used them from my Micro Q, but you can get similair results with Vaz Modular, a software synthesizer. I prefer to use softer sounds in the background.
Almost all the sounds are presets, but I have made the kick, the clap (from the Waldorf Attack (softsynth)), and the bass myself. I have made bass and lead melodies wich makes it trancy. You used less melody, that's why your song sounds more progressive.
What also is important is that you use percussion, like conga's and bongo's or so. I used very little percussion in the song because it's an example, and I didn't use background melodies and sounds, but they can make your song sound better.
