Melodic prog house, heavy vox effects

Been finishing tracks lately, so started a new project.

Lots of work on this one, enjoy guys! Feedback as always is encouraged.

This is kind of a mix of my groovy house vibes and my more melodic side.

NIce one man, I knew you can be really good if you want to lol - this greedy bass line really make a difference in this track - also vocal parts are nicely place - sweet work so far !!!!

Cheers,

Darek

I like the ladies voice you have in the intro.. I like the glitch effects you have... I think that white noise you had wasn't needed.. you didn't transition to anything feel me.. you should have put the white noise at the point where you have the sounds actually come in.. it would make more sounds.. I like where the sounds come in.. it meshes well with the ladies voice you have playing.. I think you need more going on though.. at points it gets repetitive with the same loop replaying you know? but overall track is solid good job.. http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...2&forumid=74&s=

Kind of dated in its style - sounds very 2005 in its construction.

The synth choices are excellent though and the vocal work is gorgeous.

The 2:30 mark could use a bit more of something... either tension or a drop away. It just feels really sudden.

I love the depth in it though. I just don't hear identity in it yet. I don't mind the dated structure if I could hear you coming through and making it your own some more.

Excellent launching point though - your instrumentation is BOSS!

Loving the mix, the sound sytling and all, but it's not got a distinctive personality yet, which is for me down to it needing some discernable memorable flair points where it all comes together.

Don't get me wrong, excellent mixing and soundscape, just needs that next level of creativity to enable it to assert itself.

I really love the atmosphere in this one. The bassline is great, and vocals are very pleasant. I disagree with the white noise comment, I think it's a good idea. Also, yeah it needs more work, I think the arp synth is the way for further development, it could sound really hypnotic.

Thanks guys, did an all nighter on this one and haven't had a chance to go back and focus much more on it, but it's what I will be working on next time I get a chance to do anything.

Will probably try to update the drums, the arrangement, and giving it some character. Thanks for checking! Something to modernize it would help too so I'll be moving in that direction.

Been playing with bassline processing and think I have a little magic going now, that I'll be using with a lot of my tracks Just really getting into proper ducking, EQ'ing the very low end of the bassline around the kick, and colouring/saturation processing.
