quality of used records?

well im sure the quality of my present records is going, but im not noticing it yet. do y'all buy used records much? if they're hard to find... "must haves" like sister bliss - sister sister or something like that.
is it worth it ordering them? or will they be in shit shape?

ive heard quality goes after 10 plays, but my most played (lustral - everytime) still seems to be goin strong...

just would like to hear some input on this... how can i tell what kind of shape the record is in also (aside from big scratches)

I'd like to hear more about the quality of records slipping after 10 plays. I just got my decks and have probably spent $220 on vinyl so far -- yes, I'm addicted. I've probably spun all my records at least 8 times. Hopefully im not putting myself in a position where I need to buy new vinyl already? Surely this cannot be the case?

I buy used vinyl all the time. You can pretty much tell from looking at it as to what kind of shape it's in.
