Software to record sets with

Ok so lately i have been having problems with programs to record my sets with and i figured that maybe it would be good to have a list of different software that ppl here use to record there sets, so if other ppl are having similar problems as me then they can c the list here instead of posting a new thread to find out about software.

List of programs:

Audacity - Easy to use freeware, some sound cards will not be supported by the program
Adobe Audition - easy to use but expensive, all sound cards supported but i have had problems with the program skipping a lot during recording (might be my program or might be the fact that i run vista)
Steinberg Cubase - Expensive, i have never tired it so i cant rly say anything about it
Sony Sound Forge - Dont know, plz provide info if you have any
PolderbitS Sound Recorder & Editor - works quite well
Creative wave editor - works good too, never had a single problem

Plz post any other programs that you use (that work well) and any info about them if you want and i will keep this post updated.

The Creative wave editor (supplied with the soundcards) works good too, never had a single problem.

Absolute Sound Recorder for me. In my very 'very' amateurish set up that im mainly just starting to experiment with. No problems on the recording side though using that.

Audacity - works well for me.

Used to use Audition until it started to skip every now and then in my mixes (I was using XP and onboard sound).

I'm using Wavelab. That program can do lots of things, and it does single-track recording very well. Been using it for approx. 5 years.

any sequencer will do, but in my opinion as technology grows, you will want to get apple logic because it supports 192 kHz a/d /da conversion

i used to use the wav. editor in nero to record sets. i have used sonar to do it also.

now i'm using emulator x. works great w/my e-mu 1820m. would work great w/a 1212m also. this set up is 24/192 capable also.
