That's a pretty good guide, back in the day I tried using nero but there would be a small gap between each track.. Then I managed to sort that out but there was a small gap between tracks one and two..

I'm sure Nero is fine now but if any of you are having issues with gaps I recommend Sony CD Architect.

if your having trouble with gaps between tracks it can be fixed. got to go to prefrences and change the gap from 2 seconds to 0. thatll fix it. and this is for nearly every burning program.

if you got a macbook or pro all you have to do is run rca cable from the booth out on the mixer to the imput in computer. open up Gargeband start program hit record and stop when your ready. dont have to worry about levels cause that can al be fixed when editing..

You can also try a program called Burrrn

If you drag your .wav files in there...when you burn it, it has no gaps inbetween tracks. You can also do mp3s but there will be a little glitch in between tracks if you use mp3s

again... stop it!

Levels MUST be set/adjusted BEFORE recording - NOT AFTER it -

Audacity is a great free program that you can download to record your mixes.

Yeah, you can use RCA cables with PC's as well.

And of course you have to worry about levels - you cannot just magically "fix" distortion afterwards.

I've used audacity for the past year, and haven't had any problems. I bought one of these for 30 bucks, and it is great.
