I bought the Behringer Truth Monitors, excellent sound at a resonable price (369.00 shipped).

For $20 bucks more than the BX8 you could check out the Event TR8, I hear they are great and very versitile. I especially am getting those because I need speakers that will trasition well between DJing and producing.
