It's pretty hard to say if a brand is dependable or not, but I have my doubts about Stantons reliability. My TT (ST100 of Stanton) broke but it was still luckely under warranty (luckely, they give 2 years). The promissed my i'd have it back in maximum 2 weeks. After 2 months, I had to call in the judge to settle the business. After 9 weeks, I got a brand new ST100. Their warranty service isn't too reliable. Anyways, I'm not gonna say that their s-450 sucks, cuz I simply wouldn't know since it's a pretty new model. New models do tend to have some problems... It's up to you if you want to take the risk.
About the effects, I really think you shouldn't spend too much attention to that anyway. The 100% pitch, you'll NEVER use. The CDJ100 has a couple of effects and to be honest, nobody hardly uses them, so I doubt they're pretty useful.
But again, you should feel both players and you should buy the one you like best. Stanton gives 2 year warranty whereas Pioneer only gives 1. But you can really rely on Pioneer... so, my recommendation is: try them out. |
Thank you,
and again,
i must know if thihs stanton is dependable because if it isn't , i will buy the cdj100s...its not a good idea to buy a CDJ that will be crashed in a few weeks !
btw- if i have any problem with this stanton or cdj, i can go to the store that i've bought the stanton from, and they will fix the prob..
