Since your planning on settling your equipment in your room, it would be wise to hook everything up using your ministereo, thats if the stereo allows rca in/out plugs. At the same time, using your ministereo, you can record your sets onto tape very easily. Of course, you can more complicated than this, using an amplifier to connect your speakers..the choices go on and on....
