* New Service @ Chemical's...Vinyl Cut! *

for 60GBP u can have your music in vinyl.....here it goes:

Vinyl dubplates are the latest development in dubplate technology. Using a combination of specially made vinyl plates, and a state of the art cutting lathe, these plates have the look and feel of a dubplate, but with the durability of heavy vinyl pressings

Made of thick black vinyl, the plates are processed using pioneering studio technology to give an extremely flat frequency response from 20hz to 20 khz, at levels of over +6db. So with no sound loss at high or low frequencies, these plates stand up well alongside commercial 12 inch records.

The plates are hard-wearing too. They don't chip or bend if you drop them, and you can cue up, rewind and scratch with them as often as you like - and unlike acetates you can even clean them with vinyl cleaner and they wont degrade

This is really a great idea for people that create there music, but it a bit expesive 60 pounds in canadians money is almost 150$

But I guess it the price to pay to have your music on vinyl instead of on CD

It's only 45 pounds since we don't have to pay VAT.

yeah but you probably have to pay import duty

Its a good deal- normal dubplates cost about the same, if not more- and they wear out fast.
if these are hard wearing, as it says then its a goer.
I trust chemical too

Just found this out thanks to a mate of mine, http://www.dubstudio.co.uk/home.html , can get you tracks put on a 12" for 25 pounds for 1 side, or 35 pounds for both, so you can save some money if your only puttin on 1 track.

I'm kind of curious to hear the different qualities from these vinyl cuts. It's worth paying more if the quality is better...
