Hello,
I'm currently using shure M44G's, and would like a second set of needles. I'm looking at either the Ortofon Concorde Pro, or Stanton Trackmaster 2. I'm using Spherical needles, so I'd like to stick to spherical needles. Any recomendations?, I mainly mix with a little scratching here and there. I want something that sounds great, lasts a while, won't harm my vinyl, and will be able to handle scratching.
Thanks. |
Trackmaster 2 are pretty worthless elements. If you said 500MKII, they still are worthless comared to a Concode Pro. And with the Ortofon, you can still make a choice between the Concorde Pro or the DJ S. The DJ S is advangeable if you have very good turntables (either SL's or super OEM machines). If you don't have those, you should get the Concorde Pro.
