I've been DJ'ing for a while now and wanted to start producing some tracks of my own. I recently get hold of a powerbook and wanted to know what software would be best to start off with, bearing in mind I know nothing about producing.

for Mac?

Pro-Tools is the standard in producing for the mac, but may not be the most intuitive.

Reason is a good one, Many producers make entire albums with just reason and maybe some separate hardware and/or midi keyboard.
